Resilient Energy & Infrastructure (REI) is an advanced energy integration innovator focused on resiliency solutions where high-reliability creates high-value-add.  REI develops, designs, engineers, builds, and commissions energy infrastructure systems.  Our team integrates modern renewable energy with traditional energy assets, advanced energy storage, and energy management software & control technologies to gain significant system efficiencies, optimize reliability, enhance system flexibility and utilization, enable prompt transportability for geographical optionality, and increase mission critical energy security.

Our core energy innovations include 1) our patented ExoSolar and 2) our Rapid Deployment Hybrid MicroGrid (RDHM).

In a factory-based, quality-controlled environment, we pre-build transportable ExoSolar PV arrays with accordion-style stainless steel racking and Tier 1 solar modules.

We also integrate ExoSolar with reliable inverters, power electronics, battery energy storage, and power distribution connections in our ruggedized 10’, 20’, and 40’ ISO-containerized standalone microgrid systems (RDHMs). Single phase and three phase, low voltage and high voltage. Off-grid but also grid-attachable. Generator-integrated or generator-ready (input).

Our Rapid Deployment Hybrid MicroGrids arrive to a host site ready to rapidly extract and deploy. Moreover, our ExoSolar is designed for rapid retraction and re-loading to their dedicated containers for protection or for re-location. Key facet: No stranded asset risk.

REI’s objective is to address a significant disequilibrium between legacy, inefficient, and antiquated centralized systems and more modern, resilient, and efficiency-optimized distributed systems-of-systems.

In 2022 REI established Resilient Energy & Infrastructure East Africa Ltd (REIEA), based in Kenya, in order to broaden global scope and to bring our innovation and efforts to Sub-Saharan Africa where tech modernity offers meaningful potential in the areas of rural electrification, agricultural coldchain, urban dense as well as off-road e-mobility, and, cost-effective sustainability initiatives benefitting myriad stakeholders.
